Eelar

Eelar is a young boy, who appears to be about fourteen years of age.
Shard
Eelar lives alone on a small island of land, only a few metres across, surrounded by the boundary mists. He has a small one-room house, with a couple of fruit bearing trees that provide sustenance. The island is affected by an eerie curse, however. As midnight rolls around, everything on the island is returned to the way it was 24 hours ago. The exception to this the house, which is somehow protected from the curse, along with everything inside it. This means that Eelar has an unlimited supply of resources to work with, but anything he leaves outside is gone the next day.
Eelar does not know his parents. They left him at an early age, venturing into the boundary mists. It was them that constructed the house on the island, and it is likely that they also gave it its protective properties. It is possible that they, in fact, managed to craft the whole shard somehow, but the purpose for it is unknown.
The Dream
Eelar managed to stumble into the dream one day. With so much time to himself, he has a very active imagination, and inherited arcane abilities from his parents may have facilitated his crossing over. It was not long before he found another dreamer, who he referred to as 'Niira' and clung to whenever she was around. The initial encounter was a frightful experience for him, having never really interacted with anyone else. He eventually warmed up to Niira though, after she gave him his name.
His lack of any human interaction severely limited his social ability. Upon arriving in the dream, he had no knowledge of any language. As he spent more time in the dream, his vocabulary increased, and though simple and fractured, he can usually use it to express himself.
Eelar has not been seen in a long time. He would often spend much time outside on his shard, where he could enjoy the sunlight. Entering the dream outside though presented obvious risks. Eelar may have succumbed to this temptation and paid the price.
